Biological Activities by Chemistry Substances Isolated from Mycorrhizal Fungi of Pinus Sp
نویسنده
چکیده
The genus Pinus is represented for woody plants which has big economic importance. There are reports that some mycorrhizal fungi associated with this plant produce chemistry compounds with biological activities. The aim of this study was to evaluate the association between genus of fungi found in Pinus, biological activities detected and substances isolated. In this way, it was realized a systematic review of mycorrhizal fungi found in Pinus. The articles were selected in the databases Lilacs, Scielo, Pubmed, Scopus, Science direct and Web of Science, using the program Endnote® for the data storage. As keywords we used the terms: mycorrhizal fungi and biological activity and Pinus, mycorrhizal fungi and chemical components and Pinus. It was found 2322 articles, these, 1478 had the abstracts evaluated, and, 13 were selected to be read in full, leaving 7 for analysis of the data. In the articles evaluated were found 23 genuses of mycorrhizal fungi present in Pinus species. The activity most reported was the antioxidant activity and the tocopherol was the isolated substance with more prevalence. This review can contribute to research in the humanities, agricultural and veterinary due to the scarcity of research in this theme. In Vitro Inhibition of Growth in Saprolegnia sp. Isolated
Saprolegnia is one of? the? ?most important agents decreasing the eggs survival rate in sturgeon hatcheries. There are some chemical substances for controlling the fungal infection of eggs. In this study, an attempt was made to introduce a ?germ negative bacterium, Pseudomonas aeroginosa (PTCC1430)(Persian Type Culture Collection) as a biocontrol??ling agent of? ?water mold. Saprolegnia was...
متن کاملGrowth and mycorrhizal community structure of Pinus sylvestris seedlings following the addition of forest litter.
We report the effects of pine and oak litter on species composition and diversity of mycorrhizal fungi colonizing 2-year-old Pinus sylvestris L. seedlings grown in a bare-root nursery in Lithuania. A layer of pine or oak litter was placed on the surface of the nursery bed soil to mimic natural litter cover. Oak litter amendment appeared to be most favorable for seedling survival, with a 73% sur...
متن کاملMolecular Identification of Endophytic Fungi Isolated from Needle Leaves of Conifers in Bohyeon Mountain, Korea
Fungal endophytes are microfungi that live in plants without causing apparent symptoms of infection. This study was conducted to identify endophytic fungi isolated from leaves of coniferous trees in Bohyeon Mountain of Korea. We collected leaves of two species of coniferous trees, Pinus densiflora and Pinus koraiensis, from 11 sites in the study area. A total 58 isolates were obtained and ident...
متن کاملWaiting for fungi: the ectomycorrhizal invasion of lowland heathlands
1. In England, the loss of lowland heathland, a habitat of global conservation importance, is primarily due to the invasion of birch and pine. This encroachment has been researched in depth from a plant perspective but little is known about the role of mycorrhizal fungi. In lowland heathlands the resident dwarf shrubs form ericoid mycorrhizas whereas invading trees form ectomycorrhizas. Therefo...
متن کاملRoot-Associated Fungi Shared Between Arbuscular Mycorrhizal and Ectomycorrhizal Conifers in a Temperate Forest
Arbuscular mycorrhizal and ectomycorrhizal symbioses are among the most important drivers of terrestrial ecosystem dynamics. Historically, the two types of symbioses have been investigated separately because arbuscular mycorrhizal and ectomycorrhizal plant species are considered to host discrete sets of fungal symbionts (i.e., arbuscular mycorrhizal and ectomycorrhizal fungi, respectively). Non...
